Toefl can be taken by online as well. The propose of the
TOEFL is to evaluate the English proficiency of people whose
native language is not English. TOEFL scores are required
for purpose of admission by more than 4,400 two-and- four
years colleges and universities worldwide. In additon, government
agencies, scholarship programs, and licensing/certification
agencies use TOEFL scores to evaluate English Proficiency.The
test is offered in two formats: 1. Computer based test if
offerd in most part of the world. In areas where access
to the computer based test is limited, the paper based version
of the test is administered.
